Drumfest, by Kevin Kinane, is a program that uses percussion to improve motor skills, encourage team building and enhance creativity. Equally effective indoors or outdoors, with large or small groups, Drumfest is a great addrtion to events ranging from after school programs, festivals, bookstores and motivational business seminars.

Drumfest was originally designed as a music education program with a progressive teaching methodology promoting alternatives to drugs and gangs. Kevin has successfully expanded Drumfest's scope to include community events such as State Fairs, street festivals, museums, private parties and other venues.

Kevin has served as an interim music teacher at Bandalier, Misson Avenue and Susie Rayos Elementary schools. He has pioneered after school recording projects targeting high risk students at Jackson, Jefferson and Hoover middle schools. This after school program focuses on special needs students emphasizing respect and teamwork to complete common goals. He has also presented teambuilding assemblies to over one hundred schools, community centers and after school facilities. Kevin has also created and produced recycle-man, a program using all recyclable instruments that encourages respect for the environment and teaches students to create all original instruments.
